That toaster is too bizarre. I found a web-page with another photo. Its probably a coveted item for "mid-century modern" types, if you're willing to spend a couple hundred bucks to get one restored and working, so that you can dazzle your friends and one-up them with your uber-hipness! My cousin rents a room from this weird guy, and in her bathroom there are two clown pictures that must be by the same “artist!” One of is the creepy hobo man cuddling with a midget clown, and it’s probably one of the most frightening things I’ve ever seen someone hang on their wall.
