We mostly stick in Ballard, since we both live there and it’s usually pretty good. We do venture out to other areas.
I have junked in Tacoma and I used to love to thrift in Spanaway / Parkland area, but I haven’t done that in a few years.

So glad to read your post – lame sales are a bummer, but when you go to a good one it’s a thrill. I love the gingerbread boy with the head cut out. I’m down in the Tacoma area and one of the best sales we get here is the Yakima Avenue sale in the north end (the north end has the best sales). Which are your favorite areas in the Seattle area?

Really? You don’t go to yard sales? They are really the best thing we have here. Thrifting used to be good, but it’s pretty picked now. We don’t have very many auctions either…

Those sound like some scary-ass sales to me, however….

I’m so glad you go to yard sales, since I’ve given up on them!
