I wish I had gone to your sale… I see some good stuff in there, but I would have also known that you were holding out on me. I saw the trunk load of goodies from the amazing vintage clothing sale. That sale would never happen in a million zillion years in Austin. Sigh.

I absolutely love your website! I’ve enjoyed reading your yard sale adventures. I’ve been having yard sales at least once a year since my youngest daughter was 2 (she’s now 24). I love having and going to them. In fact, I have a cohort in yard sale “crime” – my friend Catherine. We met about 15 years ago as neighbors (each having our own sales), and now we do them together. We are in the Tacoma area.

A little more info on the Babee Tenda – those are from the 1950′s. My parents had one for us and when we got older, we used the table to color and play on. Don’t you just love baby accessories from the 1950′s? They were totally unsafe! My parents had a baby car seat that literally just hung over the back of the bench seat – no safety whatsoever. Also, the Vernonware Organdie casserole pictured on the Tenda is the exact pattern of dishes my mother had.
